April 2023 Couple’s Rest & Reset
We had the honor of welcoming 3 combat injured veterans and their wonderful spouses to Jupiter, Florida. Our couples traveled from the Tampa area some of which are still in Active Duty. This group bonded instantly and enjoyed the hospitality and appreciation that was shown to them by all of our donors and volunteers. During their stay, our military couples enjoyed a wonderful day of golfing hosted by Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club. Later in the evening, our guests were treated to a BBQ cookout with the Vietnam Veterans of America, not only were our couples spoiled with some delicious comfort food, they also enjoyed the comradery of being around their fellow veterans.
Our military couples were able to Rest, Reset and Renew! Our veterans and their spouses finished up their time here with a Deep Sea Fishing Excursion with Black Dog Fishing Charters, a relaxing ride on PonTiki Boat Cruises and date night dinner at Dive Bar Restaurant. We want to thank all of our donors, activity hosts and volunteers for providing these military couples with some much needed time to reconnect with one another.
