This December, we were honored to host a Chick-fil-A lunch for those local veterans spending the holidays in the Mental Health Unit and Blind Rehabilitation Facility at the Thomas H. Corey VA Medical Center. While it may seem like a simple meal, it brought big smiles and meaningful joy to veterans facing some of life’s toughest challenges—reminding them that they are not forgotten while in the hospital this holiday season.
