In October we welcomed 6 Caregivers of Combat Injured Veterans from Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee to enjoy some much needed respite of their own.

The ladies enjoyed high tea, crafting, a lighthouse climb, a trip to Loggerhead Turtle Museum, Ladies night at Evo and a river cruise with Pontiki. Most of their downtime was spent by the pool sharing many conversations about life and how to keep moving forward. These ladies all reiterated that fact that there are few organizations that recognize the sacrifices of the military spouse. This was a humbling experience for them as they were all so thankful to be given this opportunity. Our caregivers left Jupiter feeling a sense of Renewal with new friendships to confide in.

It was a bit difficult without Mary being here, bittersweet for all of us. We have found comfort in knowing WRC has all of you to help keep our mission going so that we may assist more of our combat injured veterans and their families moving forward. Thank you again for continuing to change the lives of our nation’s wounded heroes.
