Our Annual Chefs Helping Heroes Fundraiser is our biggest fundraiser of the year. This event allows Warriors Renewal Coalition to continue it’s mission of assisting our Nation’s combat injured veterans and their families. Today, the silent suffering of our veterans and their families seldom makes headlines. The physical and emotional scars that war has left upon our military must not be neglected. It is through our mission, that we continue to bring awareness of these struggles to the community. That we continue to show the appreciation and support that our veterans so humbly deserve. Please join us for an evening is support of those who have sacrificed so much on behalf of all of us!

We are honored to introduce our Top Chefs of the evening...

Major Samuel “SQACQ” Memorial Golf Tournament

Our Annual Major Samuel “SWACQ” Griffith Memorial Golf Tournament was founded out of the love and compassion for our combat veterans, in memory of fallen hero, Samuel Griffith. This event was founded and hosted by our Gold Star Parents Donnie & Kathi Bischoff who have played an integral role in honoring our veterans throughout the years.

With 36 teams participating this year, we are truly humbled by those who continue to support and play year after year.

Congratulations to the Winning Team:

Michael L., Mike G., Mike F., and Jim H.

Special thanks each and every year to Skip Ward at Big Digital Graphics for donating hole sponsor signs, Pete Fedor of Irwin and Farmer for donating the banner, Glenn Madigan for supplying our flyers, Jeff Orr of J-Town Bikes for donating a bicycle each year and Hi Tide Boat Lifts for donating a boat lift each year. More thanks to, Tito’s Vodka for providing complimentary vodka, Southern Eagle Distributing for donating beer products and a golf foursome, Express Plaques for their support, Holly for capturing the highlights of the tournament, and Syd and Cristy Hobbs for their generous support and their solicitation to obtain so many generous donors. Chefs Helping Heroes Fundraiser Dinner

Many of our wounded service members and their families must endure intense medical care for wounds of war, both seen and unseen. Military families are often forced to face long periods of unrelenting issues and feelings of isolation. Warriors Renewal Coalition strives to remove our post 9/11 combat injured and ill service members from their medical appointments and rehabilitation and allow them to rest, reset and renew time with their family. The caring environment Warriors Renewal Coalition provides our military families demonstrates to them that they are no longer in their fight alone. There is an entire community among us, who appreciates their service and sacrifices, always standing ready to help.

As a young soldier told us, “He never knew there were so many people so willing to help his family.”

To date, we have provided 100 R & R’s hosting over 1200 military participants. Your generosity has allowed us to expand our program to meet the ever-changing needs of our veterans. Thank you for helping those who have sacrificed so much on behalf of all of us.
